Tiger Caddie Experience Auctions For $50,000

Charity golf auctions always produce unique items to bid on, but Tiger Woods’ TGR Foundation outdid themselves with one prize over the weekend.

How about the chance to be on Tiger’s bag?

That’s what attendees last Saturday had the option of bidding on during the 20th Tiger Jam, which benefits the TGR Foundation. One anonymous participant pledged $50,000 for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to carry Woods’ bag during the 2018 Hero World Challenge Pro-Am at Albany, Bahamas.

That’s right. Somone in Vegas bid $50K for the privilege of carrying a heavy golf bag around a course in paradise.

Woods’ caddie, Joe LaCava, will get the day off at the event that is scheduled the last week of November in the Bahamas.

The TGR Foundation is the benefit of the proceeds and will help “equip underserved students with the resources to ensure lifelong success.” The charity event occurred last Friday and Saturday in Las Vegas and included a golf outing, a poker night and of course, the live auction.
