Topgolf has evolved from a cool idea to a thriving business with 30 establishments scatted throughout the United States with even more in the works. The business model to combine the best parts of hitting golf balls at the range with a social atmosphere that includes food, drinks and fun has been a slam dunk, so it’s unusual to find Topgolf in the news for the wrong reasons.
Reddit user Sub116610 was on hand when things went haywire at one of Topgolf’s locations. The ball return machine malfunctioned and firing Topgolf’s signature golf balls above the bar area and out into the hitting bays.
When the ball return at Topgolf breaks… ????????????
