A new British lifestyle apparel collection inspired by the heritage of Tom Morris has won the Top Buyers Choice Award at the world’s biggest golf show; the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida.
The Tom Morris International collection for Autumn/Winter 2013 was debuted at the PGA Merchandising Show and has finally arrived at TrendyGolf.
The collection, which has a lifestyle feel but has been designed with Tom’s extraordinary achievements and charismatic personality in mind, oozes quality, heritage and innovation.
The Tom Morris brand was established in 1848, when Tom presided over the most significant period in the development of golf. Inspired by the heritage of Tom Morris and Scotland, the lifestyle range, which features a specially designed tartan, endeavors to continue the legacy of Tom Morris.
The unique tartan has been specifically designed for the Tom Morris range and has been officially registered with The Scottish Register of Tartans. The design uses a range of grey melange tones to form the base which reflects the birthplace of Tom Morris in ‘the Auld Grey Toun’. A vibrant purple is inspired by the colour of the heather on the famous Links course, a tribute to the heritage and legacy of Tom Morris that features throughout the collection.
