Monsters Shoot and Kill Goose on Golf Course

The search is on to identify two men involved in the kicking and shooting of a Canadian goose on an Arkansas golf course. The despicable act was captured on film by an anonymous person who presumably was playing and watched first hand as the events unfolded.

KATV Little Rock has the report:

Major Jason Parker, with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission reports that the incident happened at the end of April at the Centennial Valley Country Club in Conway.

“The goose did not make it and the officers had to dispose of it. It’s not a hunting season and for the Canadian geese and another concern is the safety factor,” said Parker. “It’s something the wildlife officers take seriously every day. It’s not just a goose to them it’s a part of Arkansas. It’s a part of something we want to protect and save for future generations.”

The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission says the golf course is home to a large population of Canadian geese, a migratory bird that is federally protected. Charges in this case could range from hunting out of season to federal wildlife violations.

Here’s the disturbing footage in full as well as the caption posted on the Arkansas Wildlife Office Association’s Facebook page:
