Brandt Snedeker is finding paradise to his liking. Coming off of a T3 last week on Maui, Sneds jumped out to the first-round lead at Waialae Country Club thanks to a 7-under par 63. He followed that up with a second-round 65 to put himself on 12-under par and in solo possession of the 36-hole lead at the Sony Open in Hawaii.
Kevin Kisner is right on his tail one shot back and the foursome of Zach Johnson, Luke Donald, Zac Blair and Chez Reavie are two shots back at 10-under.

…and Tim Clark got flat out robbed.
A big storyline of first full-field event of the year was how well 50-somethings Vijay Singh, 52, and Fred Funk. 59, are playing. Funk shot rounds of 65-70 to earn himself a pair of weekend tee times while Singh held a piece of the first-round lead. A second-round 69 leaves the Big Fijian four strokes back and taking lines like these prove that Vijay isn’t going to fade quietly.

The round of the tournament thus far goes to Canadian Graham DeLaet who went from 3-over par to 5-under thanks to a second-round 62.
