Euro Tour Player Wants To ‘Get Hammered’ After First Win

Now, this is a guy we can all root for.

Andrew Johnston, affectionately known as “Beef” on the European Tour for obvious reasons, claimed his first win on the circuit Sunday with a one-stroke victory over Joost Luiten at the Real Club Valderrama Open de España. Johnston shot a final-round 70 in difficult conditions to post 1-over par.

Beef is up to 125 in the Official World Golf rankings. If he heads Stateside to play in more PGA Tour events, don’t be surprised if he gets mistaken for Boo Weekley. Or if he gets caught out on the town with Kevin Kisner.
