Fantasy Insider: 2016 Quicken Loans National Expert Picks

The week after the U.S. Open is a tough spot for any tournament on the schedule, but having Tiger Woods associated with the Quicken Loans National seems to be the one thing keeping this event from bordering on Web.com Tour status.

Tiger’s influence got guys like Rickie Fowler, Patrick Reed, Jim Furyk, Ben An and Justin Thomas to Congressional Country Club. With many of the big names taking a week off following the grind that was Oakmont, this could be a good opportunity for a handful of guys to pick up a solid resume-building win.

What The Experts Are Saying

Jeff Sherman of GolfOdds.com and the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook has set Rickie Fowler as the odds-on favorite at 12-1. Patrick Reed and Jim Furyk come in behind him at 15/1 and 20/1, respectively. Justin Thomas, Charley Hoffman and Marc Leishman are 25/1. Kevin Chappell, Gary Woodland, Brendan Steele, Ryan Palmer and Byeong-hun An are 30/1.

Rob Bolton at PGATour.com set his Power Rankings as follows: 1. Reed, 2. Furyk, 3. Hoffman, 4. Steele, 5. Leishman, 6. Summerhays, 7. Kevin Streelman, 8. Roberto Castro, 9. Kevin Chappell, 10. Bill Haas, 11. Byeong-hun An, 12. Kyle Reifers, 13. Shawn Stefani, 14. Rickie Fowler, 15. Gary Woodland.

Pat Mayo at RotoExperts.com is playing Fowler, Woodland, Reed, Chappell, Palmer, Furyk, Jamie Lovemark and Anirbahn Lahiri.

Steve Bamford at Golf Betting System is backing Leishman, Hoffman, Castro and Streelman.
