Henrik Stenson Breaks (Another) Club at Open Championship

After yet another poor tee shot on his final hole Thursday at the 2014 Open Championship, world No. 2 Henrik Stenson snapped his club over his knee in frustration.

This was not the first time Stenson has snapped a club in anger. Fans may remember the Swede abusing his golf club at the 2011 U.S. Open, resulting in a sliced palm …

… then again at the 2012 Masters:

… and again at the 2013 BMW Championship:

Stenson had an up-and-down first round at the season’s third major before finishing with an even-par 72, still very much in the mix for the claret jug.
