The Clubhouse’s 20 for 2015: No. 11 Bubba Watson

Throughout the month of December, The Clubhouse will count down the 20 players to watch during the 2015 PGA Tour season. From upstart young players to veterans hoping to maintain their elite statuses, there’s no shortage of storylines across the game of golf heading into the new year.

When Bubba Watson isn’t out making music videos dressed as Santa Claus or holding Twitter contests, he’s out winning tournaments. He won twice and finished runner-up three other times on the PGA Tour during the 2013-2014 season, good enough to solidify his spot at No. 5 in the FedExCup standings.

He started the 2014-2015 season with a second place finish at the PGA Grand Slam of Golf, followed by a victory at the WGC-HSBC Champions. A strong start to the new season has Watson at No. 11 on John Maginnes and Jeff Rude’s list of 20 players to watch in 2015.
