Throughout the month of December, The Clubhouse will count down the 20 players to watch during the 2015 PGA Tour season. From upstart young players to veterans hoping to maintain their elite statuses, there’s no shortage of storylines across the game of golf heading into the new year.
Billy Horschel came out of nowhere in 2014 to win the Tour Championship and FedExCup thanks to an incredible run through the playoffs. Victories at the Tour Championship and BMW Championship helped seal the FedExCup and $10 million dollars, closing out what was a memorable year for the former Florida Gator.
Going into the 2014-2015 season, Horschel is obviously one of the favorites to have a big year. Riding the wave from his breakout year, Horschel looks to get off to a hot start and make another run at the FedExCup. I’m sure he wouldn’t mind another $10 million and a cool vintage Coca-Cola machine.
Horschel comes in at No. 15 on John and Jeff’s list of 20 to watch in 2015:

Former PGA Tour pro John Maginnes, longtime Golfweek Senior Writer Jeff Rude, and extreme sports champion Will Christien co-host Back9Network’s nightly talk show, The Clubhouse. The playful banter of Maginnes, Rude and Christien will echo the conversations one would hear at the 19th hole. The trio’s no-holds-barred discussions will cover the latest happenings both on and off the course, as they incorporate questions and guidance from viewers at home, celebrities and the game’s professionals.
Making a stop at The Clubhouse gives golf lovers across the country a perfect way to end the day, weeknights at 10 p.m. Eastern.
