The Odds: Trio Of Favorites At RBC Canadian Open

On the heels of last week’s British Open, the PGA Tour takes its show north of the border for the RBC Canadian Open.

There won’t be any Rory McIlroy or Tiger Woods teeing off this week, but there are several golfers worth your attention.

Dustin Johnson, Matt Kuchar and Jim Furyk check in as LVH SuperBook co-favorites at 12-to-1 odds. The Linemakers on Sporting News’ Brian Blessing isn’t a big fan of betting golfers at short prices, but he does like one from the trio.

“Jim Furyk always shows up and contends at the Canadian Open, with two wins north of the border on his resume,” says Blessing. “12-to-1 is tough to take, but he should be in the hunt.”

For those looking for more profit potential, Blessing suggests Robert Garrigus, who “just missed a win in Canada a few years back,” and Carl Pettersson, each at 60-to-1.

Also, while Morgan Hoffman is not found on the LVH board, Brian likes him at the 150-to-1 odds at which he’s offered elsewhere.
