World-Class Instructor App Development & Teaching Technology Giveaway Headline SwingU’s 2019 PGA Merchandise Show

SwingU, the golf technology and media company, announced today that it will exhibit at the 2019 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida January 22-25.

“SwingU Academies creates personalized, branded instruction & training apps for golf coaches and clubs,” said Kirk Pagenkopf, Chief Revenue Officer at SwingU. “We’ve built something that truly revolutionizes the way instructors engage with students and are excited to connect with PGA members at this year’s show.”

At the PGA Show Demo Day, SwingU will give away a teaching & technology package valued at more than $4,000, including a 1-year license to a branded golf instruction app as well as a video production technology bundle (iPad, tripod, mic & more). PGA members become eligible for the giveaway after scheduling an in-person demo and filming a swing tip with the SwingU staff. The afternoon entertainment will feature a live trickshot show starring SwingU staff members, Josh Kelley (@holein1trickshots) and Ryan Rustand (@coach_rusty). The industry’s top trickshot artists will perform from the GRAA Pavilion (Lower Tee Box #2).

On the PGA Merchandise Show floor (Booth # 816), SwingU will provide live demos of its Academies app alongside world-class instructors Jim Hardy, Chris O’Connell, Stan Utley, Gary Gilchrist, Michael Breed, Hank Haney, Jason Sutton and Gary Gray. Club Pro Guy’s team will also have a presence all-week at the SwingU booth.

“We’ve spoken to hundreds of PGA members over the past 2-3 years, and we think golf coaches are leaving money on the table,” said Charles Cox, CEO of SwingU. “We’re thrilled to offer instructors what we think is the world’s most complete game-improvement app platform to grow student engagement and in-person lesson revenue.”
