The 2018 season on the PGA Tour is already technically underway, but with the new year about to kick off in a few days, it’s time to look back at the year that was in professional golf.

From great finishes at major championships to sudden death playoffs and historic final rounds, here are 10 of the best PGA Tour events from 2017.

 

10. WGC-Mexico Championship – Dustin Johnson

Dustin Johnson’s start to the 2017 season was both fast and furious. The addition of the WGC-Mexico Championship was a fascinating week from start to finish thanks to the massive elevation at which the tournament was contested and the strength of field that assembled for the first time all season.

DJ would win by one of Tommy Fleetwood, but names like Jon Rahm, Rory McIlroy, Phil Mickelson, Thomas Pieters and Brandt Snedeker all finished inside the top-10.
