Snedeker’s #DadFail: Wrong Name on Cake

If you thought playing professional golf for millions of dollars per week was a lot of pressure, try being a parent.

Eight-time PGA Tour winner Brandt Snedeker is pretty set financially for the rest of his life thanks to a bunch of talent, some timely wins and solid putting, but there are few things more important to children than their birthdays. Snedeker found that out the hard way earlier this week when he brought a tasty treat to his daughter’s school to celebrate her birthday.

There was only one issue, however: Snedeker’s daughter’s name is Lilly, not Billy.

Without any spare blue icing on hand, Sneds had to cop to the embarrassing mistake and he let the rest of the world poke some fun at him by posting it on Twitter with a wonderful #dadfail hashtag.

For what it’s worth, former Golf Channel broadcaster and current host of SportsCenter, Scott Van Pelt put the whole thing in perspective.

One thing is for certain, this will be a birthday Billy Lilly will never forget.
