John Daly Wins First PGA Tour Champions Event

John Daly is a champion again! Let that sink in for a second. The 51-year-old two-time major winner claimed his first PGA Tour Champions title at the Insperity Invitational, marking his first Tour victory since the 2004 Buick Invitational.

Daly stuck to his game plan of staying aggressive on Sunday by wearing American flag pants and eagling the par-5 first hole at The Woodlands Country Club in Texas. He then added a few more birdies during the middle of his round to give him some breathing room. As it turns out, he needed it as he closed his round with three straight bogeys en route to a final round three-under 69. In the end, it was good enough for a one-shot victory over Tommy Armour III and Kenny Perry.

Needless to say, Long John drank it all in afterward. What a legend!

Even the president of the United States took notice!
