Pack Of Mongoose Invade Tour Course, Spare Golf Ball

Golf is an outdoor sport contested all around the world in all different locales. It should come as no surprise, then, that when you head to certain parts of the globe, you’re prone to see different kinds of wildlife.

The European Tour is in Sun City, South Africa this week for the Nedbank Golf Challenge, the second leg of the Tour’s Final Series Race to Dubai. During the second round France’s Victor Dubuisson, Scotland’s Richie Ramsay and South Africa’s Jaco Van Zyl approached a green around the same time as a pack of mongoose.

Luckily, all 20 of those mongooses are familiar with the Rules of Golf and didn’t mess with the golf ball on the green.

The European Tour aren’t the only ones dealing with some unusual native species this week, however. The PGA Tour has its own unique kind of spectators in Mexico this week at the OHL Classic.

Come for the golf, stay for the wildlife.
