This Could Be the Craziest Scorecard of All Time

Golf is a game of ups and downs, but what you are about to read is borderline insane. A couple of weeks ago at the Galvin Green PGA Assistants’ Championship contested at England’s Coxmoore Golf Club, one man may have the signed the wackiest scorecard in golf history. Thankfully European Tour

Thankfully, European Tour pro Eddie Pepperell shared Oliver Smith’s masterpiece on Twitter this week:

If we take a closer look, you’ll notice he busted out of the gate with an opening quintuple bogey setting the tone for the rest of the round. He then righted the ship with a birdie on three and then ran off a string of 4 straight birds capped, off by a hole-in-one on the par-3 10th. He wasn’t finished yet.

Smith gave it all back and then some with a bogey on the 12th and then he butchered the par-5 13 by making an 11!

After two more bogeys on 17 and 18, Smith signed for one of the most eventful 79s you will ever see. Seriously, take a look at that scorecard! It’s real and it’s spectacular!

Smith missed the cut after posting 74 the following day, but nobody is going to remember his MC. They’ll remember his ace and an 11 in the same round. Well done, sir.
