The Race for $10 Million Gets Underway This Week

The season-long race for the FedEx Cup has made it to the final stretch. The FedEx Cup Playoffs kick off this week at Glen Oaks Club in Old Westbury, New York. 120 of the best golfers on the planet are on Long Island trying to put a nice, $10 million bow on their seasons.

While five players are missing the first Playoff event for various reasons, the top-20 in the standings are on hand with most of the top-30 available to be seen  on PGA TOUR LIVE, which will have coverage beginning early Thursday morning.

The top-6 players in the season-long standings — Hideki Matsuyama Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth, Dustin Johnson, Rickie Fowler and Jon Rahm — headline the Featured Groups during PGA TOUR LIVE‘s coverage window over the first two days of the event. The second Featured Group for Thursday and Friday will be decided by a fan vote.
