Sergio, Ben Crenshaw Dominate Member-Member

Please excuse Sergio Garcia if he needed a confidence builder.

The 33-time winner took a week off after missing the cut at The Masters after an incredible 13 at No. 15 at Augusta National in the first round.

So what do you do to get your confidence back?

Team up with a two-time Masters champion in a member-member tournament.

That’s what Garcia and Ben Crenshaw did last week with a victory at Austin Golf Club’s member event.

Crenshaw had helped design the Austin Golf Club, not to be confused with Austin Country Club, and brought in a ringer for the tournament.  Garcia’s wife, Angela, has ties to Austin and the couple frequents the area. Crenshaw played with a zero handicap, while Garcia sandbagged with a plus-5.

Yes, the duo won the tournament and celebrated the victory.
