Tiger Rekindles Magic, Makes Two Eagles In Pro-Am

In case you haven’t heard, Tiger makes his much-anticipated return to competitive golf today with an old friend in his bag. Since Nike’s announcement to leave the equipment business, Woods is free to play whichever clubs he pleases, so why not go back a putter that he used to win 13 out of 14 majors. Of course, we are referring to his trusty Scotty Cameron.

On Tuesday during his press conference, Tiger shared a surprisingly funny (for Tiger standards) story about his son.

“Charlie knows there are two putters that he can’t touch,” Woods said. “There’s that black one I won with the trillium insert, I won the Masters in ’97, and this one. They sit next to each other. Touch any other putter, do anything you want with any other putter. These putters are off limits…Daddy only.”

Speaking of Tiger, TIGER WEEK rolled on into Wednesday when he participated in a not-your-ordinary pro-am. The feeling in the Bahamas – and on social media – was palpable as the 14-time major winner played a full round of golf in public for the first time in 15 months. He shot an unofficial 2-under par 70, which included 2 eagles!

Take a look at this sequence:

Before we get too carried away, let’s not forget this is only a pro-am. Thursday will be the real test.

Our glutes are fully activated this week.
