Tools: Leishman’s Winning Clubs at the BMW

 

Marc Leishman slammed the door down the stretch to capture a five-stroke victory over Justin Rose and Rickie Fowler at the BMW Championship. Leishman made three birdies in his last four holes to seal the deal, firing a final-round 67. Jason Day finished fourth and Matt Kuchar and Jon Rahm tied for fifth.

Leishman put on an all-around performance at Conway Farms leading the field in strokes gained: tee-to-green and strokes gained: total. He was second in SG: around the green, fourth in SG: putting and eighth in SG: approach to the green. Around the green, Leishman picked up more than six strokes on the field average.
