Wie Gets Engaged To NBA Legend’s Son

Michelle Wie is officially off the market.

The most recognizable female golfer on the planet got engaged over the weekend, saying “yes” to her boyfiend, Jonnie West, son of NBA legend Jerry West.

Wie shared her engagement with her followers on social media, publishing a three-part Instagram post that showed West on a knee and the pair showing off Wie’s newest piece of jewelry.

Wie and West went public with their relationship in January. West is the director of basketball operations for the Golden State Warriors.

The engagement comes just a few days after Wie had her latest setback on the course. Following hand surgery in October, Wie attempted to make her second LPGA Tour start last month at the HSBC Women’s World Championship, but was forced to withdraw after 15 holes citing “strong nerve irritation” in her surgically-repaired hand.
