Back9Network Renews Ambassadorship with Cheyenne Woods

HARTFORD, CONN., FEBRUARY 27, 2014: Back9Network, the golf lifestyle multiplatform media network, announced today that it has renewed its ambassadorship deal with professional golfer, Cheyenne Woods. For the last year, Woods has served as a special correspondent for the network, covering major PGA Tour events and contributing to editorial content for golf.swingbyswing.com.

“We are so proud of everything Cheyenne has accomplished both on and off the golf course over the past year, and it was a priority of ours to continue to work with her,” said James L. Bosworth Jr., Chairman and CEO of Back9Network. “She has truly been a wonderful addition to the Back9 family and has played an integral role in cultivating interest in golf from young women.”

Woods joins an expanding roster of Back9Network ambassadors and talent including NBA All-Star Ray Allen, Emmy Award-winning on-air host Ahmad Rashad, tour professionals Padraig Harrington, William McGirt, and Parker McLachlin, and golf legend, Tony Jacklin, among others.

“The way Back9 celebrates women in golf is inspiring and to continue to be a part of that is incredible,” said Woods. “Back9 has really given me a platform to tell my story and connect with avid golfers and casual ones alike.”

After a big breakthrough winning the Australian Ladies Masters two weeks ago, Woods will participate in the Symetra Tour’s new season as she works towards earning her LPGA tour card.
