Tools: Andrew Landry’s Winning Clubs In Texas


Andrew Landry became the latest first-time winner on the PGA Tour, holding off Sunday charges from Sean O’Hair, Trey Mullinax and Jimmy Walker to win the Valero Texas Open. Landry fired a 4-under par 68 in the final round to win by two strokes.

Landry had missed the cut in four of his previous five starts before breaking through at Valero. A shaft change in his irons, as well as a slight tweak to his lofts, helped him to lead the field in strokes gained: approach to the green, picking up more than 7.6 strokes on the field average
